Innocent Questions II

I started this series a few days back. I know you are lazy so here is the link to the first one. And now comes the second one.

A little girl was diligently pounding away on her grandfather’s word processor. She told him she was writing a story.
“What’s it about?” he asked.
“I don’t know,” she replied. “I can’t read.”

This was one of the oldest joke I read or heard. But it was a bit different. There instead of little girl an illiterate person used to say that. There is a huge difference between both. You’ll never call the later one as innocence. You’ll call him a dumb person or at least you’ll say illiterate. But not to that girl.

The curiosity during this age is at the highest level. The girl wants to know how to type and how it works. I am not going through other 9998 questions which will make thousands of questions. I don’t have that much brain power. The girl does have. In fact all little angels (or devils in my case at least) have this curiosity. They dare to do things on own to cure the curiosity.

Do you?? I’m many times afraid to go for new things unless under guidance. That is most probably when things are not related to my field. Or things which I’m not confident of. I wish I still had the guts like that of girl. She doesn’t have to worry about word processor.

Catch a cat

Catch a cat

I wonder how that cat got there??? The cop surely had hard time in catching the cat. This is a new thing for me as I haven’t seen a cat being caught like that. It was always a stray dog or cow.

10000 Hits

Four days back I saw this movie. The name of the movie was 10000 B.C. The movie was ok and I had good time. But in order to make “Happy Endings” the story lost it’s charm. Would have been an ideal end for the movie. Though you always have “Happy Endings” if you take it in different perspective. (Hmmmm. I’ve started to use heavy words. Just to make the post heavy. Don’t mind them). This post is not about this movie. But about my blog.

Yesterday I achieved the first milestone. I got 10000 hits to my blog. No cheating nothing. I don’t have to tell that because it’s been six month for those hits. Anywhere else it would have been much more till now. It doesn’t make a difference to me. I’m really happy to achieve this. Just a psychological win that will make me dip deeper.

I had announced a contest on entrecard for the person who hits 9999. I knew that would happen today. Here is the screenshot of the person who was the winner. He commented as chato and is a good cartoonists I suppose.

9999 hits

The day before yesterday I was about to upgrade my blog. But my uncle came to stay at our house. I was happy but had to sleep early and shutdown PC. So was unable to upgrade. Today when I was ready to upgrade, there was some problem with server router. My site was inaccessible in some parts. So the upgrade is still in queue.

After this much hits, I’m ready to make some changes to my blog. They’ll be as and when I get lots of free time. Thanks to all the readers all around the world for reading nonsense and helping to achieve this.

What’s special in lunch?

Sleeping cat

That looks to be something special in lunch. Have you ever seen a cat sleeping near a table full of food?? I’ve so far seen cats “meowing” near such table. The “meow” is so attractive and irritating at same time. You get rid of that by giving some food to cat. Else it will surely climb up on hips or the table. Looks like this cat already finished a plate.

Age of a Blogger

I’ve been blogging for five months. Actually it’s far before that. But I did it on large scale since five months. At present I’m 24. So I’m not that old. A bit young blood (These lines are written just for my personal satisfaction that I’m not old). So what’s the perfect age for blogging?? Do you have a certain age limit in your mind??

There are millions of bloggers around the world and I read many blogs. I really don’t know their ages. What I look and read is the thing they write. The entries they post. If it’s interesting I comment and give a visit again. That’s how my blogging goes. But in spite of these things I had an age limit in my mind. Like 60-70 years. No one can blog over that. But I was wrong.

On 12th July 2008 the oldest blogger died. Her name was Olive Riley. You can read about the news here and here. And do you know what was her age?? She was 108 years old. Pretty young. This gives clear idea that the bloggers and blogging does not have age limit. It is you who limit yourself. If you really wanted to blog then you would have asked for help. Zillions of sites and peoples ready to help you.

The blogger died is an inspiration for all. At least I’m inspired. I will now be posting with more passion. You can visit her blog at

Domain may not be working but the blogspot link works. Visit and give a tribute to her.

May her soul rest in peace..
