Problems with blogging

It’s been long since I have written anything about blogging. Did I write?? So this post breaks the silence. For the past few days I am having troubles with my blog. They are getting bigger and bigger. I am sharing them here so that I may get some help and some solutions if any. The list is small but the problems are big.

The first one is database error. This is really frustrating. Everyday I try to find more and more ways to attract real users, I succeed and then these errors. I have informed the admin. Let’s see when this get resolved. If this doesn’t get resolved in two days, I’ll be moving to another host for sure. My hobby of blogging is now my passion which is hard to hurt. Continue reading →

Refreshing Sunday

Alas… It’s Sunday again. It is a day we all wait for. Especially the working people. For past few Sundays it has been pretty troublesome and I was unable to get some refreshment. Today it looks to be a perfect Sunday. I wanted a good sleep, so I slept early yesterday. Early for me is 11.30pm. My nose was running and thought better to sleep early.

I don’t know why this happens, but I happen to wake up early on Sundays. For last few weeks. That is because of the exercise I have started. Today I gave a break, ignored, and slept only to be waked up by my friends call. Woww!!! Perfect way to wake me up. Why I don’t switch of my phone? It is fun to wake someone when he is having good sleep. I do such crime many time. Now I get it in return. It is said that you pay for all your sins here and in this life only.

It’s holiday time

After the Diwali festival some days are still left. In most parts of India this is Diwali vacation time. So the tourist season starts from here. Though I live in a place which is 365 days on holidays, officially the government says this month as the start of the tourist season. Forget the government. It’s not a topic we should talk much about.

For the last few season there is increase in number of tourists from parts other of India. I can say that personally also as I have seen more Indian tourists on beaches than the foreign in some places. Fortunately or unfortunately it is the beaches which is the attraction for all tourists. There are many other places in Goa which are worth seeing.

As a tourist you should make sure you have good accommodation. You should book rooms before coming to Goa. It is relay difficult to get them when you visit in tourist season. Almost all hotels will run full. You may then have to lookout for some cheap motels. That can leave a bad taste about Goa in your memories. So book your rooms in advance.

Just to help you people, I am listing a list of websites that can help you. Internet is a great means to find a hotel without visiting.

Travel Go Goa : Focuses mainly on hotels in Goa. It also gives some extra information about history, heritage, art and culture of Goa. You might like to read this before you go.

Hotels Goa India : Another one mainly focuses on Goan hotels. Nicely categorized into five star, four star and so on it is easy to find hotel based on  star. It also lists some nice  hotel packages.

Hotels Combined : This is one of the best. To be precise it is the best. It enlists almost 250 hotels in Goa. That is quiet a lot to choose from. There are user ratings which means other users rate the hotels based on their experience. It gives you cost of room per night just aside the hotel. There is map where you can locate the hotel and find the route. Also it lists some features of the hotel you’ll stay. You can sort based on Price, User rating, Names and stars. This website not only lists hotels just from Goa but around the Globe. It is like one stop and look nowhere else.

Yatra Travels : This is one of the leading traveling agencies in India. They have variety of packages not just for Goa but in other places of India and around the world. Fun on Weekend

After a long gap I had one good weekend. This year has been totally boring in terms of enjoyment. So do the weekends. They come and they go. I only “use” them to complete my sleep which I don’t get enough on weekdays. I sleep with the beginning of next day. That is why I don’t like anyone or anything interfering in my Sunday sleep. This time it was different and I had to go.

One of my friend is planning to build a new house. He wanted my advice as I am suppose to be a Civil Engineer. His house is around 30-35 Km from my. He is my cousins friend first. So my cousin asked me to come on Saturday for a weekend fun. Our weekend fun is limited and not unlimited. There are hardly unlimited fun times. This was another limited. There were seven of us including me and we had dinner and then Baskin Robbins.

I don’t know why I stopped going for weekends. Earlier my weekends were planned. Especially last year. Sometimes with this cousin and the other time with my friends or may be colleagues. That used to take junk out of my mind and I am fresh.  Now you have to read all that junk here in the form of nonsense.

This fun is just for 3-4 hours but acts as charge. I am thinking of continuing with such weekends. I am jobless on Sundays most of the time. Such weekends will fill that thing. I wouldn’t have faced this problem if I was drinking at least beer. One group of my friend celebrate such “wet” weekends every now and then.

Till I taste my first beer…

Where are we going??

Phewww.. A tireful day. Most of the time I was eating and eating and eating. Now I came to know eating also requires a lots of energy. But this Diwali was a bit boring. There was not much fun involved. Earlier every year there were many people gathering to wish each other and to show sweets their place in stomach. Not this time though.

Last year also saw a decline in the festive activities. The number of peoples getting together for such events is going down. The reason most of the time is said to be their job. We have holiday on this day all over. So how can job be the problem?? Even I got a holiday. I am getting holiday for most of the festivals for last two years. As far as I know all private companies follow nearly same rule for festival holidays.

World is getting smaller and smaller. Thanks to the telecommunication and similar technologies. With this I think our hearts are also shrinking. Our emotions are dying. We want to be alone and within our family. I read somewhere a long back that human beings are social animals. Now the social is gone and animal is remained. It is getting worse and worse day by day.

Where are we going?? Back to the old age where humans were learning to stay in groups?? At least at that point we didn’t knew about the importance of group. Now that we know it we are running away. The attendance to the organized functions is the worry. On this good festive occasion I wish that those days to come back soon. We can only hope for.
