जिद्द, चिकाटी हे गुण असे आहेत जे अशक्यप्राय गोष्टी शक्य करु शकतात. अनेक सुप्त गुणांपैकी असे हे गुण प्रत्येक माणसात असतात. कुठे व किती प्रमाणात तुम्ही हे वापरता यावर तुमचे यश निर्भर असते. क्षितीजांच्या पलीकडे जाण्याची जिद्द वेडी वाटते. तिथे जाणे शक्य नाही. पण हीच जिद्द त्याला एक शिखर गाठून देते. अशा माणसांना नंतर आपण असामान्य म्हणतो.
