18 Days On Vacation

Life is getting busy. Now I have started playing pre-recorded replies like “I don’t have time”. This started from last two months. I was begging for a break from blogging so that I can gather some ideas and put some reinforcement into my writing. But I never decided when to take a break. That was till my April Fools prank.

If you wait for long enough, things come to you. The same thing happened with me. There is someone, some power looking after us. He sees what we want. He fulfills what we want. And suddenly one day my net connection was doomed. I kept calling on their support line but the problem was not solved.

Funny thing is the one who came to repair my connection didn’t even knew how to switch on modem. They were totally unaware of what the real problem is. Add to it another thing. Their senior who had knowledge about this was on vacation. So it was God’s full proof plan for my break. It was after his return that the actual problem was known and it took another week to repair it.

I must say though that I really enjoyed this time. Beach, movies and restaurant. Perfect way to enjoy. I also got time to read book. Though I haven’t finished the second one I bought. I got hold on some of my relationships and glued them. I was very happy for these things.

There were also sad things. My worst days on job. I really had bad time on job. Lotsa AK47 stuff. There was also rocket launcher by GM of our client. I was stressed out and desperately wanted to blog about this. I missed blogging too much for this. Now the things are looking normal. But you never know..

Thank you god for everything

Everyday is not same. We go through a series of changes which may also change the course of our life. When we get something good or we are happy, we often forget to thank god for that. But when it’s bad time we suddenly remember god and that also for cursing. Why me? Why did you do this to me? What wrong I did? This happens when you forget to thank god. It doesn’t matter if it’s tiny or negligible thing. Just thank god for giving that.

A while ago, I read a blog where the author wrote good things that happen in his everyday life. I am trying to find that blog and will link it when I find. I don’t want to turn my blog into something similar like that blog. So I’ll write a post every week to thank god for the good things happened in that day.

  • I had a great breakfast in the morning.  Chapati with sambar tastes great.
  • I was late to get out of the house and was expecting to miss my bus. I didn’t miss that. 🙂
  • There was a dispute between me and an engineer from contractor’s side. It was solved peacefully. Thank you god for giving me enough patience.
  • I had good lunch with butter to add to taste.
  • I was able to convince contractors engineers again in another dispute. That was twice in a day. 🙂
  • I met a friend while returning to home, whose wedding I wasn’t able to attend. Happy to see that he was not angry on me.
  • A cup of coffee with some toasts and a comedy show on TV. Perfect for relaxing.

God sticky note

God is very busy these days. When the festive season comes he has to be busy(The only time when everyone remembers his existence). Right from a kid aged six years to an old person aged sixty years is asking for something. A gift which will make him happy. God never likes to see his children’s unhappy. So to fulfill their wishes he tries his best. He never fulfills all the wishes but the ones which will really make him happy.

This tidy schedule often makes him forget things. Then we say god didn’t listen to me. He didn’t fulfill my wish. It also gets converted into, I hate god or I don’t believe in god. In our office we have a board where we pin some notes. We call them stickies. God has also followed the same idea. Look at the picture. He pinned a note on Earth.

His To-do list contains “Prove Existence”. Some posts back I talked about this. In today’s world of science, we hardly believe in god. He doesn’t exists as he cannot be seen. Now you have a question in your mind. Why god wants to prove his existence? Let him be an invisible personality (Is god a person??). I have no interest whether he exists or not.

There is a simple reason why god wants to prove his existence. You are walking down the road with pride. You never look down or back. Just forward as it symbolizes progress for you. Suddenly you slip and fall. You just stepped on a banana peel. Curse the road cleaner and the monkey who ate that banana. When you fall, everyone around you probably starts laughing at you. You are alone and no one is with you. At that time god is with you, if you believe him.

If you have belief then you’ll laugh at yourself, take that moment on lighter side and continue walking. That is the strength god can give. And that is why he wants to prove his existence. He wants everyone to believe, there is someone behind who cares for you. That feeling itself is relief from any pain. Just start believing in him and feel the difference.

There was a time when I also didn’t believed his existence. Then some strange incidents started happening with me. Things which I never thought would happen with me. It’s not just coincidence. Coincidence can happen once or twice, not every time. Just start looking at small things that happen in your life. He is always there and exists.

Decisions… When will I learn??

It is decision time again. I got an offer which I can’t refuse. There is no gun pointed on me for the decision. I am not forced. The decision time is the most critical time and I think too much to take a simple decision. I am learning to take some good decisions and it feels good that I am improving. But when the decision time comes, I get confused.

This time again it’s related to job. I got a job offer. A better one from what I am working. So far my path of jobs is made up of small and small interval stops. I work for five-six months and leave the job. So I decided to work here for a full year atleast. Now due to financial crisis the work has slowed down. I was almost sure of pink slip this month but no. This makes me stay and continue the job for a year atleast.

The offer I got is better. A better salary, closer to my town and probably the work which I haven’t done so far. So I will get some experience. The project is also a reputed project and will attract media attention on the verge of completion. A chance to get my name in some where from nowhere.

It’s not an easy decision. I always feel God is testing me with decisions. He always puts me in some troubles and asks me to take decisions. Every  month I get atleast two job offers and this is first for this month. I think a good sleep will help in taking decision. WHatever it is. I am totally confused.

I am more of God-dish

Coincidence is what I have started believing in. What I mean to say is coincidences are not just coincidences, they are the answers to prayers. Yesterday I watched two films which were god-dish. One was “Hello”and other one was “God Tussi Great Ho”. If you ask me about the box office then both of them have flopped.

“God Tussi Great Ho” is based on Bruce Almighty with an Indian touch. Some emotional scenes as always. But the film was bad. A person gets the power of god and what he does? Just does good thing for himself. God doesn’t differentiate between anyone. But this person does. That is why God powers the world. If a human does that then it will be trouble. We have a tendency to get more. We want more and more. We are never satisfied. Just ice cream is not enough. We want toppings and cherries. Such a person cannot run this world.

“Hello’ was nice. I liked it some extent. There are many logical things which make this movie good for me. Reason for bad box office success is not known to me. A call from God and the six persons change their attitude towards life. We loose our confidence when the things don’t favor us. Nothing seems to improve us. If you are god-dish then praying to him is the best way. You’ll get your confidence back.

We are in an age where science dominates. For that reason we have lost our faith in god. We don’t need him. Failure of such god-dish films is another proof of that. Normally we tend to watch what we believe in or what we like. I am more of god-dish. I am happy with an ice cream without toppings and cherries. Just try to be happy that way…
