Jetpack

Amazing!!! Isn’t it?? This is an important news for me. I have always dreamed of flying. I’ll someday achieve this dream. But it’ll take a long time. So till then my dreams are my companion and my inspiration. Let’s not talk about dreams. I’ll write in detail about that. The Jetpack you see is invented by a New Zealand inventor Glenn Martin.

The inventor worked very hard and spent many years on that machine. There are many advantages and disadvantages of this Jetpack. I’ll mention them further. It looks a lot different from what it is. Finally a Domain

Phewwwwwww…This domain thing made me go crazy for a week now. To notify all my fellow readers, whom I’ve not been responding for a week, I bought a domain. www.thinknonsense.com. So please update the bookmarks. Though you’ll be redirected to this page automatically I still suggest to update the bookmarks. To all my link exchangers also. Please update the link in your blogroll. Your link stays with me anyways.

I bought this domain on 4th July. I thought it’ll be easy task to change things and within a day or two my site will be up. But no. Very poor support from my host company Hostindia made my life difficult. To all those buying a domain, I suggest not to go for the said company. Whatever I asked I got a one or two line reply without any detailed info. They should provide support when I pay them the price they want. But they didn’t. The reply timings were also not good. Queries asked after 6pm got reply after 7am next morning. This should not happen with domain seller.

The reason I went for this was that I don’t have a credit card. And if I had I would never associate it with paypal. I have some money in my paypal and I was able to buy a domain by using send money link. The activation was quick. I got the domain running very quickly. But poor support made me go mad. Keyboard

All of us are aware of this part of computer. Majority of the input is made through the keyboard only. Although mouse is really helpful in navigation. But you can navigate effectively without the mouse also. Just the thing is you need to give some time to learn some keyboard shortcuts and move away from mouse. Almost all of us don’t like this animal. Exception of those who are doctors. They love to murder them.

So I have this keyboard which was working good for last five years. Its the only keyboard since I bought my computer. But for last few days keys started sticking. Especially the space key and the Enter key. Along with 2-3 others keys also. So it needs replacement. I’ve to look for something which equals my current keyboard. It seems to be a difficult find. I’ve tried asking for the similar type in three stores. All in vain.

Many of the keyboard come with three keys just above arrow keys. The three keys include Sleep,wake-up and scroll lock. Due to this foolish placement I try to accidentally hit one of those. And that’s bad. i was surprised to see that keyboard and mouse come in duo. Means single is not easily available. The ones you get are local and cheap Chinese which are useless plastic crap.

My current keyboard is what I want in new one. This keyboard hardly gave me any problem in last 5 years. i used to remove all keys every 3-4 months and clean it up. Did this about a month back but no changes. I wash it using detergent and it shines as a new one. May be one of the few good things I do for computer.

And the search is still on….

Friends

I miss them a lot. It’s really been days since I’ve been with my friends. I’m almost out of touch. I don’t know where they are, how they are. What they do and what they don’t (thats none of my business). The whole point is I miss them. I’m busy these days and I’m sure my friends will be. But then is that reason to be out of touch??

I think so. Earlier I used to be in touch with the messages and the calls and the missed calls. There used to be meetings and visits. But life has it’s own rules which makes our friends depart. Seriously speaking I, for the first time in my life feel, I need a friend. I’ve never been in a situation like this.

The need for friends is not unusual. I have always been surrounded by friends and family. Family is still with me. But the friends are disappearing. And there is a whole lot of space around me begging to be filled. The positive thing is that I’m getting new friends at my job. But that won’t make up for the one which you already have.

Oh!! I forgot. I do forget….

Friends here is in physical. I’ve lot of friends online. But I love friends offline. Now thats enough of dose for you guys. Now get back to work or start finding friends..
