Language of an old woman
I have already written some posts regarding language. But this is a vast subject which is sufficient to give you topic everyday. If you know more than one language, which most of you do, then you have a potential to write about language. I am good at four languages and about five of them i am in learning stages. So I have good material to write about though I choose not to write often. That would convert this blog into “The Language Blog”. After some days I’ll get some eggs and tomatoes at me.
This incidence happened yesterday while I was talking to my friend. Yeah the same friend who own a pharmacy. I talked to him after so many days due to my busy schedule. (I hate to use this “busy” word.) I was standing there and doing the thing I liked the most. Observing peoples. I do it unconsciously now as it has turned out to be my habit. After a few minutes an old woman entered the pharmacy. This is the woman whom I helped to get to the clinic. (Are you listening Santa?? I deserve a gift here.)
She gave her prescription and started talking. A bit surprised, she couldn’t talk properly. The last time I met her she was talking good. This time she wasn’t able to pronounce properly. Every word she uttered was incomplete and used to end abruptly. Try to speak without using your tongue. Something similar happened. What amused me that we were still able to get what she wanted to say.
This mystery will stay with me for long. How can we just interpret when we are unable to get the whole word? Of course it was not 100% correct interpretation but close to that. Its the beauty of a small part inside our head, that we call brain. A while back I read an e-mail where the words had the first and last letter in correct position and rest all altered. I was still able to read the paragraph without any mistake or without much effort. I hope to solve this mystery in this lifetime.
Request to all search engines: Don’t mark this post as spam due to the use of the word pharmacy. There are pharmacies which exists offline.

Last three days
The problem seems to have started again. I thought I’ll miss my post for today. But I am able to post at this time. I am unable to find what is the problem. I thought my phone line is dead. I am unable to make or receive any call. This started yesterday night when I was trying to login. Very slowly I was able to login. I checked my e-mail and answered some of them.
Then I started entrecard and checked the drop inbox. There were lots of drops. I was with my friends on Saturday. So I was offline for that day and then Yesterday I went for a wedding reception. Had some fun there and when I returned I was unable to connect. My friend staying nearby was able to connect. So I think it may be phone line problem.
It has become my habit to blame ISP first and then to find the real cause. That way I get peace of mind 👿 I also have a doubt on my router. For past few days I am handicapped due to no torrent downloads. Whatever you say but I love them and use them for my personal use. Though it’s still illegal.  This month I had the lowest bandwidth consumption. Still three days to go. I am sure I’ll never get to the average of last few months.
Oh!! And as I have said many times through my blog entries, I enjoy a lot when I am offline. So exactly the same thing happened. On Saturday I set an example of being shameless. There is this friend of us who stay in Mumbai. He called to wish the Birthday boy and it was a call of bad words. The cellphone was passed from every friend to other. And all you had to do was to give him mouthful of bad words and pass it on. All my friends gave the golden words in soft words and till it was me who said it loud. It was stunning!!!! I never said a bad word so clearly and publicly in my whole life. It was very enjoyable moment. And there was a burst of laughter among all friends that took a while to stop. Almost all of them had their head down to table except… guess who??? I grabbed some attention too. It was fun and an unforgettable moment. Now recall your first time of bad words.
Till I post my next post…
Think Nonsense…
Etc.
These three letters proceeded by a dot hide a lot of things. You have used this thousands of time knowingly or unknowingly. The things hidden varies according to the person, his work, problems etc. You see. Keep guessing what I hid behind this. It is one of the beautiful combination of letters.
I use this many times. While writing, while working, while having conversation etc. The beauty of this word is that you don’t know for what it is used. I use it sometimes to hide my lack of knowledge and lack of ability to complete or stretch a sentence. It is a word which many of us use to show others that you know a lot. But in real it may not be true.
Think of the last time you used this word. You’ll come to know why you are using this word. This adds automatically without your knowledge (most of the times) at the end of a sentence. It may turn out to be a kind of frustration if the number of times you use this word increases. You need to improvise in that area to avoid the use of this word.
I try to use it less as much as I can. But as said earlier it adds automatically. Now a days this word sometimes repeats itself to give a better value to a sentence. Like etc.etc.etc. I personally feel that wherever possible this word should be avoided. You loose your value after using this. That’s what I feel.
Now have I missed anything in this post?? Then.. etc.etc.etc. 😀

Innocent Questions II
I started this series a few days back. I know you are lazy so here is the link to the first one. And now comes the second one.
A little girl was diligently pounding away on her grandfather’s word processor. She told him she was writing a story.
“What’s it about?” he asked.
“I don’t know,” she replied. “I can’t read.”
This was one of the oldest joke I read or heard. But it was a bit different. There instead of little girl an illiterate person used to say that. There is a huge difference between both. You’ll never call the later one as innocence. You’ll call him a dumb person or at least you’ll say illiterate. But not to that girl.
The curiosity during this age is at the highest level. The girl wants to know how to type and how it works. I am not going through other 9998 questions which will make thousands of questions. I don’t have that much brain power. The girl does have. In fact all little angels (or devils in my case at least) have this curiosity. They dare to do things on own to cure the curiosity.
Do you?? I’m many times afraid to go for new things unless under guidance. That is most probably when things are not related to my field. Or things which I’m not confident of. I wish I still had the guts like that of girl. She doesn’t have to worry about word processor.
